Paul & Teresa

Budgeting has now become a joint effort or partnership, and there is no longer periods of tension in our marriage relating to our finances.

Paul and I had been trying to seek some financial advice for a while, but we hadn’t felt comfortable with individuals we’d encountered. They were not sympathetic in understanding the peaks and troughs typical of our young family life. They seemed intent on just pushing their own products onto us, leaving us feeling pressured and stressed. We couldn’t help but wonder what their own financial gain or interests were.

It was great to attend one of Phil’s seminars and finally find someone who reflected our own values and morals. Most importantly, Phil listened to us. Prior to seeing Phil, my idea of a budget was knowing what we spent our money on and not spending excessively. It was not about forward planning. I stressed when big bills came in and felt like I’d failed if our finances were tight.

Budgeting has now become a joint effort or partnership, and there is no longer periods of tension in our marriage relating to our finances. We have great piece of mind in knowing that money has been set aside for all our living expenses, and, best of all, one of our goals, paying off the mortgage early, now feels achievable. We have felt very blessed and privileged to have Phil’s experience and expertise working for us and ultimately for God, and we can thoroughly recommend this process to others.
